Science Communication
During my time in graduate school, I have made it a priority to build my science communication skills; I have attended and presented my work at several conferences, I created a YouTube channel to make academia more accessible to people who don't have academic backgrounds,applied for and was accepted as a member of the ASBMB Science Outreach and Communication Committee, and attended and then organized ComSciCon-ATL.
The goal of my YouTube channel is to make academia accessible and entertaining for people who do not have a background in academia.

ComSciCon is a series of workshops focused on the communication of complex and technical concepts organized by graduate students, for graduate students. ComSciCon attendees meet and interact with professional communicators and build lasting networks.
